NDIS provider Warners Bay

Warners Bay faces straight onto the lake, and most good days out here start on the foreshore. Our NDIS Warners Bay support helps adults with disability at home and along the water, from 6am until 10pm, every day of the week.

Support in Warners Bay

Living this close to the water should mean you actually get down to it, with a support worker who knows where to park and where the path is smoothest.

Warners Bay takes its name from Jonathan Warner, an early settler, and today it is the second-largest population centre in Lake Macquarie. The lake foreshore is the suburb's playground, with a shared walking and bike path along the water, a public jetty, and cafes and restaurants with outdoor tables.

The indoor shopping centre is Warners Bay Village, with an Australia Post office nearby. Back from the lake, the industrial area along Hillsborough and Macquarie Roads has the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium, a ten-pin bowling alley, gyms and the Warners Bay Home homemaker centre.

Feighan Park is the home ground for local football, soccer and junior cricket. Next door at Speers Point Park, the Variety Playground has a liberty swing for wheelchair users, water play, musical instruments and a quiet zone.

The suburb sits about 5 kilometres west of Charlestown and 15 kilometres from Newcastle's city centre.

Glenrock Support is a registered NDIS provider covering the top of the lake from our base in Wallsend. People who look up NDIS Warners Bay providers usually want the same thing: reliable workers who turn up on time and know the area.

Can a support worker come with me on the Warners Bay foreshore path?

Yes. The shared path along the water is one of the most popular outings we do. Your support worker can come along on foot or keep pace beside your chair, stop for a coffee on the way, and turn back whenever you are ready. We look at where to park and where the toilets are before the first trip.

Can I use the liberty swing at Speers Point Park?

The Variety Playground at Speers Point Park, right next to Warners Bay, has a liberty swing for wheelchair users. Some liberty swings need a key or a booking, so we check the council's current rules before the day. Your support worker can help with the trip and the transfer.

Is there a quiet spot at the Variety Playground if I get overwhelmed?

Yes. Lake Macquarie City Council lists a quiet zone at the Variety Playground, as well as water play and musical instruments. Your support worker can help you find it and take a break there before carrying on or heading home. We can also plan visits for quieter times of day.

Can a support worker take me ten-pin bowling or skating in Warners Bay?

Yes. The bowling alley and the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium are both in the Warners Bay industrial area off Hillsborough Road. Your support worker can come along, help with shoes, gear and getting around, and join in if you want company. The entry fee is yours to pay, not your plan's.

Do you have workers who live near Warners Bay?

Some of our support workers live on this side of the lake, and we put them on Warners Bay shifts where we can. That keeps travel short and makes it easier to keep the same faces each week. If one of them isn't the right fit, just say so and we'll change it.

What does it cost to have Glenrock in Warners Bay?

Our prices follow the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 and never go above the price limits. You get a written quote and a service agreement before anything starts. Any travel is set out in that quote too, so nothing on your statement comes as a surprise.
